About Rilk

The story

Rilk wasn't designed in a strategy deck or a venture pitch. It was built by sellers — multi-channel resellers and refurbishers — who were paying for an inventory system, a shipping app, a returns tool, a regrading workaround, and a spreadsheet of doom that lived on someone's desktop and broke every time it got opened on a different machine.

We were spending five figures a month on software that didn't talk to each other, plus the staff hours it took to make it look like it did. And we still didn't know what our real profit per unit was. We had estimates. Educated guesses. Numbers our accountant politely called "directional."

At some point we stopped trying to fix the stack and started writing down what we actually wanted. One platform. Real-time inventory across every channel we sold on. Purchase orders that captured landed cost properly. A regrading flow built for warehouses, not bookkeepers. Shipping labels that printed from the same place we picked the order. And — most of all — a profit number per serial that we could verify against the marketplace settlement, not estimate from a CSV.

We built it for our own warehouses first. We use it every day to run our own operations. Once it was solid enough that we'd bet our own business on it, we opened it up. That's Rilk.

Who Rilk is for

Multi-channel resellers. If you're moving stock on Amazon, Walmart, eBay, BackMarket, and Shopify — or any combination of those — and the inventory math is held together by prayer and a weekly meeting, Rilk is for you. One stock pool, every channel, real-time. No more midnight oversells.

Refurbishers and regraders. If you take in used or returned product, grade it, and resell it, you've already discovered that the standard tools assume every unit is new and identical. Rilk doesn't. Cost basis follows the serial through every transformation, so when a B-grade unit finally sells you know exactly what it cost you and exactly what it made you.

Manufacturers and importers. If you're buying containers direct from a manufacturer overseas — paying freight forwarders, customs brokers, duty, and a handful of other line items — Rilk treats those as first-class costs. Allocate landed cost across the SKUs in the shipment, and your true per-unit cost is locked in the day the container clears.

What we believe

A few opinions, in case they help you decide whether we're the right fit:

Per-unit profit, not estimates. "Approximately your margin" isn't profit. Real profit means the unit's specific cost, the actual marketplace fee on its specific order, the actual return outcome if there was one, and the actual freight allocated to that specific shipment. Anything less is a guess in a fancy dashboard.

One subscription, not five. Every line item in a software stack is a tax on operations. We'd rather own the whole job — inventory, orders, shipping, returns, regrading, reporting — than be one more square on your subscription matrix.

Built for the warehouse, not the boardroom. The people who run reselling operations are not the people who buy enterprise software. They're the people who put on safety boots at 7 a.m. and have very strong opinions about scan guns. We build for them.

Honest pricing. $499/month, flat, every feature. No per-channel fees. No per-user upsell. No "talk to sales" gate hiding the real number. If a feature exists, it's in the plan.

Migration in days, not months. "Implementation services" is what software companies sell you when their product is too complicated to onboard yourself. Ours isn't. Connect your marketplaces, bring in your products, and go.

What's next

We're not done. International shipping is on the roadmap — more carriers, more cross-border lanes. More marketplaces too, as the operators we work with branch out. Deeper analytics for teams that want to slice profitability across categories, suppliers, or buyers. A larger partner ecosystem of accounting, payments, and 3PL tools that plug in cleanly.

What we won't do: stop being a tool that operators actually like using. We use Rilk every day. If something gets crusty, slow, or annoying, we feel it before you do — and we fix it.

Why "Rilk"?

Short. Easy to say. Doesn't sound like anything else in the space. Mostly that.
