Shipping
Live rate shopping across the four carriers your customers actually use. Native Amazon Buy Shipping and Walmart Buy Shipping. One-click label printing. Bulk-print mode for the days when orders come in waves.
The spreadsheet problem
Most resellers have a separate shipping tool. It's a third browser tab, a third login, a third subscription bill, and a third place where orders go to get fulfilled. The shipping tool doesn't know which Amazon orders need to use Buy Shipping (and which ones will cost you valid-tracking metric points if you don't). It doesn't know that the customer in Hawaii needs a different carrier than the one in Pennsylvania. It definitely doesn't know what the real per-unit profit will be after the label cost — that calculation happens in another spreadsheet, run at end of month, by somebody who hates Mondays.
The seams between systems are where money leaks out. The wrong carrier picked because the cheapest one wasn't shown. The Amazon order shipped with a third-party label and a defect mark filed against your account. The bulk-print mode in the shipping tool that crashes if you batch more than 80 orders at once. Every one of these is a small tax. Together they're the difference between a 12-point margin and an 8-point margin.
What Rilk does
Shipping is built in. Every order in Rilk has a shipping step that compares live rates across UPS, FedEx, USPS, and DHL — plus native Amazon Buy Shipping and Walmart Buy Shipping for orders on those channels — and lets you print a label with one click. Carrier credentials are either your own (BYO) or Rilk's negotiated rates if you'd rather not bring your own.
- Live rate shopping across UPS, FedEx, USPS, and DHL — see the actual price, transit time, and service level side by side before you pick.
- Native Amazon Buy Shipping — keeps the marketplace happy (valid-tracking metric counts, no third-party label defects), often cheaper than your own rates.
- Native Walmart Buy Shipping with the same benefits on Walmart-side orders.
- One-click label printing to any label printer connected to the workstation.
- Bulk-print mode for batches — pull a hundred orders, pick a service level, print all the labels in one go.
- BYO carrier accounts or Rilk-managed rates — bring your own UPS account number if you have a negotiated discount, or use Rilk's rates if you don't.
- Shipping cost flows into per-unit P&L automatically — the moment a label is bought, the cost ties to the order line and the per-unit profit reflects it.
- Address validation to catch typos before a package goes to nowhere.
- International support — customs forms, harmonized codes, duty calculation.
How it changes your day
Before: You'd export an order list from your inventory tool, import it into the shipping tool, pick rates one at a time, print labels in batches of 25 because anything bigger made the printer hiccup, and at the end of the week run a separate reconciliation to figure out what shipping actually cost you. Friday afternoons were "shipping reconciliation afternoons". Nobody enjoyed Friday afternoons.
After: Orders show up in Rilk the moment they're placed. The shipping step is right there on the order. You can ship a single order in three clicks, or pull the day's pick list and bulk-print 200 labels at once. The cost lands on the order — and on the unit's P&L — automatically. There is no Friday-afternoon reconciliation, because there's nothing to reconcile.
Before: You'd ship an Amazon order with a third-party UPS label because the rates looked better than Buy Shipping. Two days later you'd get a Buyer-Seller Messaging note saying the tracking wasn't valid. Then a defect would appear on your account health page. Then your Buy Box share on that ASIN would drop. By the time you'd opened a case with seller support, you'd already lost a week of sales.
After: Rilk shows you both options side by side — Buy Shipping rate and your own UPS rate. When Buy Shipping is cheaper (usually it is, on light packages), you use it. The label is a valid Amazon label, tracking flows back automatically, and your account health metrics stay clean. Defects from invalid tracking go to zero.
