Scan and ship in one step

Scan an order barcode and Rilk instantly rate-shops, buys the label, and prints it — no list, no selection, no second click.

What this does

Some stations don't need a batch. A single-piece packer working one order at a time wants the fastest possible loop: pick up the package, scan it, grab the label, done. Orders → Scan and Ship is that loop.

You scan the barcode on the order, and Rilk compares live rates across your connected carriers, picks the best rate that still meets the marketplace's delivery promise, buys the label, and sends it straight to your thermal printer. There's no list to filter and nothing to select — the scan is the whole action.

How it works

Open Orders → Scan and Ship. You get a single scan field and nothing else to distract a busy station.

Scan the order barcode. Rilk finds the order, rate-shops it, buys the best label, and prints — in one motion. The next order is ready to scan the moment the label comes off the printer.

Because the station moves fast, Rilk keeps it honest for you. It won't let you ship the same order twice, and it stops on any order that has more than one item so a multi-line order gets the attention it needs at a packing station instead of a quick single scan. When either guard trips, you get a clear on-screen message and no label is bought.

What you'll end up with

  • A label bought at the best available rate and printed, all from a single scan.
  • The tracking number uploaded to the marketplace automatically, so the buyer is notified.
  • Stock decremented across every channel the item is listed on.
  • Confidence that nothing shipped twice and no multi-item order slipped out under-packed.

TIP

Scan and Ship is built for one-item orders. For anything that needs picking, verifying, or multiple boxes, use pick, pack, and ship instead.
