The Bay is Hudson's Bay online, the marketplace arm of one of Canada's most recognized retailers. For a US or international seller, it's one of the cleanest doors into the Canadian market: an established, trusted department-store audience shopping fashion, home, and beauty, without you having to build a Canadian storefront or a Canadian operations team from scratch. The Bay handles the local trust and traffic; Rilk handles running the channel from wherever you already sell. Cross-border expansion becomes one more integration instead of one more company.
What you can do
- The Bay's orders land in Rilk as they're placed. Canadian orders join the same inbox as your US channels, so entering a new country doesn't mean a new place to check for orders.
- One stock pool spans borders. Sell units on any channel and the Bay listing decrements too — you list from the same inventory instead of carving out a separate Canadian pool that drifts.
- Ship-confirm with tracking sent to The Bay automatically. Buy the label (UPS, FedEx, USPS, DHL), print it, and The Bay receives the tracking number without a re-key.
- Returns handled in the same flow as every channel. Inspect, restock, re-grade, or write off, reconciled against The Bay's refund.
- Per-unit profit reconciled to The Bay's payouts. Commission and deductions land in your P&L automatically, so cross-border margin is a number you can see, currency and fees included.

Connecting The Bay
Log into Rilk, open Company Settings → Marketplace integrations, pick The Bay, and connect your seller account. Your listings, inventory, and recent orders flow in. The Bay runs its marketplace on the Mirakl platform, so the seller account is invite- and approval-based on The Bay's side — once you're approved, Rilk connects to it in minutes.
Why sell on The Bay with Rilk
Expanding into Canada usually means friction: a separate storefront, a separate inventory count, a separate way to reconcile a different currency and a different fee structure.
