BackMarket integration

The refurbished marketplace, plugged into a regrading workflow built for the operators who actually run the bench.

What you can do

  • BackMarket orders land in Rilk as they're placed. Pickers see the order — and the unit's grade — without opening another tab.
  • A, B, and C condition listings handled correctly. Each grade carries its own cost basis, repair history, and resale price. When a unit moves from B back to A after a touch-up, the profit math moves with it.
  • Repair costs tracked per unit — parts, labor, third-party services — and folded into per-unit profit. You see the real margin on a refurbished unit, not a guess.
  • Stock stays in lockstep across every channel. A B-grade unit on BackMarket and an A-grade unit on Amazon don't fight for the same pool — they are separate.
  • Regrading workflows tied to the unit. Take in a return, inspect, re-grade, and relist on BackMarket without losing the original cost basis or serial.
  • Returns and refunds matched to the original order, with restock, re-grade, or write-off options.
  • BackMarket listing rules — condition descriptions, accessory specifications, battery-health attributes — supported directly in the catalog edit screen.

What's supported

  • A, B, and C grade listings with per-grade pricing, per-grade stock, and per-grade cost basis.
  • Standard BackMarket listing attributes — condition description, accessory inclusion, battery health, included accessories, warranty term.
  • Per-unit repair-cost tracking — parts and labor logged against the serial, flowing into per-unit profit.
  • Bidirectional inventory sync with the rest of your Rilk channels.
  • Order, fulfillment, and tracking sync.
  • Returns and refund handling with restock, re-grade, or write-off options.
  • Settlement and payout reports parsed and tied to per-unit profit.
  • Multi-account support for sellers running more than one BackMarket account.

Why use Rilk instead of the BackMarket Seller Portal

The BackMarket Seller Portal is built for one job — running a BackMarket storefront. It doesn't know about your Amazon Renewed listings, eBay refurbished category, own webstore, or the parts and labor that bring each unit up to spec.

Rilk is built for refurbishers from the ground up. The regrading workflow is a first-class concept, not an afterthought. A unit's cost — purchase price, freight, parts, labor — follows the serial from intake to final sale, no matter which channel it moves on. When a unit comes back and gets re-graded from A to B, the new resale gets booked against the updated cost.

You still open the Seller Portal for the BackMarket-specific things — quality metrics, disputes, account health. You stop opening it to figure out whether that B-grade unit actually made you any money.

Connecting BackMarket

Setup runs in minutes. Log into Rilk, open Integrations, pick BackMarket, click Connect, and authorize Rilk to access your seller account. The first sync runs immediately and your live listings, recent orders, and recent returns flow into Rilk.

If you run more than one BackMarket account — for example, one per region — connect each one. Rilk keeps them as separate channels under the same Rilk company.

  • Regrading — structured workflows for refurbishers, with per-unit cost basis through every grade transition.
  • Returns — inspect, restock, re-grade again, or write off, reconciled against the BackMarket refund.
  • Refurbisher use case — the playbook for buying used stock, grading it, and reselling profitably.
  • Multi-channel sync — list across BackMarket, Amazon Renewed, eBay, and your own store.
