How the Doba inventory sync works

1. Turn on SPS Commerce in Rilk with the mailbox SPS provisioned for you and enable Doba as a trading partner. One tick covers every retailer on the platform — Doba is the counterparty, not each store — and Rilk reads the mailbox without moving or deleting a file.
2. Each order routed to you through Doba becomes a Doba order in Rilk within minutes — the end customer's address carried through, the line matched to your SKU by the part number on the order. It doesn't matter which of the platform's retailers made the sale; it arrives as one more order your warehouse can pick.
3. The unit leaves the same count your own Amazon and Shopify listings draw from. With many retailers selling from one catalog you don't control the pace of, a single count behind all of it is what stops the platform from overselling you.
4. Ship it under the retailer's name, from your dock. Rilk rate-shops the label across UPS, FedEx, USPS, and DHL per shipment, because platform margins don't forgive an overpaid label; the ship notice with tracking goes back through your SPS connection.
5. Profit reconciles per order, whoever sold it. Cost basis plus the label cost on every line, the remittance posted on the settlements screen, and Doba inventory management and the margin on a platform order versus your own direct sale are one view.

Does Doba send orders over EDI?

Yes. Doba passes its retailers' dropship orders to you as EDI documents through SPS Commerce, and Rilk reads them straight out of the SPS mailbox you already receive them in — no re-keying and no portal to check. Rilk never writes to that mailbox: your acknowledgments, ship notices, and invoices stay on your own SPS connection, exactly as they run today.

Do I need SPS Commerce to connect Doba to Rilk?

If your Doba orders already arrive through SPS Commerce, they flow into Rilk today from that mailbox. If you aren't on SPS or want to connect directly, tell us and we'll set the direct connection up with you.

Does Rilk send ship notices or invoices back through Doba?

No. Acknowledgments, ship notices, and invoices stay on your SPS Commerce connection, unchanged. Rilk reads the orders and runs picking, shipping, and costing; it never writes to the mailbox.

Do orders from different Doba retailers show up separately?

They arrive as Doba orders in one inbox, each with its own end-customer address and line detail. Your team picks and ships them like any other order, and each one carries its own cost and label so the margin is per order regardless of which retailer sold it.

Does Rilk manage my catalog on Doba?

No. Your catalog and terms on Doba live in your supplier agreement. Rilk's job starts when the order arrives — the pick, the label, and the cost per unit — and keeping the units it consumes in the same count as every other channel.
