QVC EDI integration: vendor orders in, fulfillment and margin in Rilk

QVC order management for vendors — purchase orders arriving through SPS Commerce when your product airs, picked, packed, shipped, and costed alongside your Amazon and Walmart orders in one Rilk inbox. Connecting directly instead? We'll set that up with you.

QVC is television-driven retail: a host, a demonstration, a countdown, and a wave of orders in the minutes the product is on screen. For a vendor, that's demand you can't get anywhere else and a purchase-order pattern unlike any marketplace — quiet, then a spike tied to airtime, whether QVC is stocking your product in its own distribution centers or having you ship to the customer under your agreement. Those POs arrive through SPS Commerce. Sell on QVC with Rilk. Already on SPS Commerce? Your QVC orders flow in today. Connecting directly instead? We'll set that up with you.

What you can do

  • QVC purchase orders land in Rilk automatically from your SPS Commerce mailbox, whether that's one large PO for a distribution center or a run of customer shipments.
  • Pick the airtime wave from one list, next to your Amazon and Walmart orders, instead of working a portal export.
  • One count behind the product. Units on a QVC PO come off the same on-hand your marketplace listings sell from, so a strong segment never oversells the listing.
  • Parcel labels in the same workflow on UPS, FedEx, USPS, and DHL for the shipments that go by parcel.
  • Margin per PO. Cost basis and shipping on every line; post QVC's remittance on the settlements screen and you know what the segment actually made.
  • SPS keeps carrying acknowledgments, ship notices, and invoices back to QVC, as it does today.

What's supported

  • Live today via SPS Commerce — QVC purchase orders imported from your SPS mailbox, read-only.
  • Order intake with full line-item detail and the ship-to on each PO — distribution center or customer, per your agreement.
  • SKU matching by the part numbers on the PO; unmatched lines are flagged for mapping, never dropped.
  • One stock pool with Amazon, Walmart, eBay, Shopify, BackMarket, and your other retail accounts.
  • Pick, pack, and parcel labels for UPS, FedEx, USPS, and DHL.
  • Per-unit cost and profit on every PO line, with the remittance reconciled on the settlements screen.
  • Direct connection on request if you aren't on SPS Commerce.

How the QVC inventory sync works

  1. Turn on SPS Commerce in Rilk with the mailbox SPS provisioned for you and enable QVC as a trading partner — before the air date, so the first PO after the segment proves the SKU mapping under load. Rilk reads the mailbox and never moves or deletes a file.
  2. A QVC PO becomes a QVC order in Rilk within minutes of arriving — each line matched to your SKU by the part number on the PO, the ship-to carried through. After an on-air segment that can mean one big replenishment PO or a batch of customer shipments; either way, it arrives as orders your warehouse can pick.
  3. Those units leave the same count your Amazon and Walmart listings draw from. A segment that sells through pulls your marketplace quantities down in the same minutes, so airtime demand never becomes an online oversell.
  4. Ship inside QVC's window. The airtime wave is picked as one job; parcel shipments get a UPS, FedEx, USPS, or DHL label bought in Rilk, distribution-center POs pack to the PO, and the ship notice and invoice go back to QVC through your SPS connection.
  5. What the segment made, per unit. Cost basis plus shipping on every line, QVC's remittance posted on the settlements screen, and QVC inventory management and profit per airing are one view.

Why sell on QVC with Rilk

Airtime is the most concentrated demand in retail: a product that sells for weeks on a marketplace can sell out in a segment. The vendor's job is to be ready for it — units on hand, a PO handled the hour it arrives, shipments out inside QVC's window — while the same product is still listed on Amazon from a count that has to stay honest. A PO run off a printout at that moment is how a segment becomes an oversell and a reconciliation headache. Rilk takes the QVC PO straight from SPS into the inbox your team already works, pulls the units from the same count the marketplaces sell from, and lands cost and shipping on every line. You take the airtime from one operation, and the margin on it is a number the day it ships.

Frequently asked questions

Does QVC send orders over EDI?

Yes. QVC sends purchase orders as EDI documents through SPS Commerce, and Rilk reads them straight out of the SPS mailbox you already receive them in — no re-keying and no portal to check. Rilk never writes to that mailbox: your acknowledgments, ship notices, and invoices stay on your own SPS connection, exactly as they run today.

Do I need SPS Commerce to connect QVC to Rilk?

If QVC already sends your purchase orders through SPS Commerce, they flow into Rilk today from that mailbox. If you aren't on SPS or want to connect directly, tell us and we'll set the direct connection up with you.

Does Rilk send ship notices or invoices to QVC?

No. Acknowledgments, ship notices, and invoices stay on your SPS Commerce connection, unchanged. Rilk reads the purchase orders and runs picking, shipping, and costing; it never writes to the mailbox.

Does Rilk push inventory or manage my items at QVC?

No. QVC is a purchase-order retailer, not a marketplace you list on; your item setup and airtime live in your vendor agreement. Rilk keeps the units a QVC PO consumes in the same count your Amazon, Walmart, and eBay listings sell from.

Can I keep the product listed on Amazon while it's airing on QVC?

Yes. There's one count behind the SKU. As the QVC PO takes units, your Amazon and Walmart quantities drop in step, so you can leave the listing live without holding stock back for the segment.
