TABcom EDI integration: vendor orders in, fulfillment and margin in Rilk
TABcom order management for vendors — purchase orders from the online group behind Dog.com, Horse.com, State Line Tack, and PetSupplies.com arriving through SPS Commerce, picked, shipped, and costed alongside your Chewy and Amazon orders in one Rilk inbox. Connecting directly instead? We'll set that up with you.
TABcom is the Hazleton, Pennsylvania e-commerce group that runs a family of pet and equine storefronts — Dog.com, Horse.com, State Line Tack, PetSupplies.com, and more — with one buying operation behind them. For a vendor, that's a purchase-order account with a specialist's catalog: tack and horse care alongside dog, cat, bird, and fish supplies, ordered for stock or shipped to the customer under your agreement, arriving through SPS Commerce. Sell on TABcom with Rilk. Already on SPS Commerce? Your TABcom orders flow in today. Connecting directly instead? We'll set that up with you.
What you can do
- TABcom purchase orders land in Rilk automatically from the SPS Commerce mailbox you already receive them in — every storefront, one inbox.
- Pick them next to your Chewy, Petco, and Amazon orders — a pet brand selling into all of them works one screen.
- One count behind the catalog. Units on a TABcom PO come off the same on-hand your marketplace and pet-retail orders draw from.
- Parcel labels in the same workflow on UPS, FedEx, USPS, and DHL — saddles and feed bags included.
- Margin per PO. Cost basis and shipping on every line; post TABcom's remittance on the settlements screen and the number is real.
- SPS keeps carrying acknowledgments, ship notices, and invoices back to TABcom, as it does today.
What's supported
- Live today via SPS Commerce — TABcom purchase orders imported from your SPS mailbox, read-only.
- Order intake with full line-item detail and the ship-to on each PO.
- SKU matching by the part numbers on the PO; unmatched lines are flagged for mapping, never dropped.
- One stock pool with Amazon, Walmart, eBay, Shopify, BackMarket, and your other pet-retail accounts.
- Pick, pack, and parcel labels for UPS, FedEx, USPS, and DHL.
- Per-unit cost and profit on every PO line, with the remittance reconciled on the settlements screen.
- Direct connection on request if you aren't on SPS Commerce.
How the TABcom inventory sync works
- Enable SPS Commerce in Rilk with the mailbox SPS gave you and switch on TABcom as a trading partner. TABcom buys as one company, so it's one tick however many of its storefronts the order came through; Rilk reads that mailbox and touches nothing.
- Each PO becomes a TABcom order in Rilk within minutes — whichever storefront it was bought through, each line matched to your SKU by part number, the ship-to carried through. Equine gear and small-pet supplies arrive the same way; anything unmatched is flagged rather than dropped.
- Every unit leaves the same count your Chewy, Petco, and Amazon orders draw from. A pet brand selling into four retailers and two marketplaces has six sources of demand on one SKU, and one count behind all of them is what keeps a TABcom PO from overselling the Amazon listing.
- A saddle and a bag of bird seed don't ship alike. Rilk rate-shops each parcel across UPS, FedEx, USPS, and DHL with its real weight and size, next to your Chewy and Amazon orders; the ship notice and invoice go back to TABcom through your SPS connection.
- Margin on the specialist SKUs. Cost basis plus shipping on each unit, TABcom's remittance posted on the settlements screen, and TABcom inventory management and profit per PO are one view — useful precisely on the tack and small-animal lines you don't sell anywhere else.

Why sell on TABcom with Rilk
A specialist group like TABcom is a good account for exactly the reason it's an awkward one: it buys categories the big pet retailers don't go deep on — tack, horse care, small animals — so the SKUs on its POs are often the ones with the thinnest stock and the most channels pulling on them. Run those POs off a printout and a saddle pad sells to TABcom and to an Amazon customer from a count nobody adjusted. Rilk takes every TABcom PO straight from SPS into the inbox your team already works, pulls the units from the same count your Chewy, Petco, and Amazon orders use, and lands cost and shipping on each line. The specialist account runs like every other lane, and the margin per PO is readable the day it ships.
Frequently asked questions
Does TABcom send orders over EDI?
Yes. TABcom sends purchase orders as EDI documents through SPS Commerce — every storefront on one connection — and Rilk reads them straight out of the SPS mailbox you already receive them in, with no re-keying and no portal to check. Rilk never writes to that mailbox: your acknowledgments, ship notices, and invoices stay on your own SPS connection, exactly as they run today.
Do I need SPS Commerce to connect TABcom to Rilk?
If TABcom already sends your purchase orders through SPS Commerce, they flow into Rilk today from that mailbox. If you aren't on SPS or want to connect directly, tell us and we'll set the direct connection up with you.
Does Rilk send ship notices or invoices to TABcom?
No. Acknowledgments, ship notices, and invoices stay on your SPS Commerce connection, unchanged. Rilk reads the purchase orders and runs picking, shipping, and costing; it never writes to the mailbox.
Does Rilk push inventory or manage my items on TABcom's storefronts?
No. TABcom is a purchase-order account, not a marketplace you list on; your item setup lives in your vendor agreement. Rilk keeps the units those POs consume in the same count your Amazon, Chewy, and Petco orders draw from.
